Local Government Investment Pools
The firm serves as investment advisor and administrator to two local government investment pools, Colorado Surplus Asset Fund Trust (CSAFE - www.csafe.org) and Florida Surplus Asset Fund Trust (FLSAFE - www.flsafe.org). Both of these investment pools are structured to meet the daily liquidity needs of local governments. Moreover, both CSAFE and FLSAFE are rated AAAm by Standard and Poor's Corporation. Assets under management* are $852 million for CSAFE and $196 million for FLSAFE.

Mutual Fund Sub Advisory Services
Through our Kirkpatrick Pettis Capital Management division, DFIM serves as the sub advisor and portfolio manager of the Tax-Free Fund of Colorado, a $226 million* mutual fund that is a member of the Aquila Group of Funds. The Tax-Free Fund of Colorado invests in intermediate maturity investment grade Colorado municipal bonds - the securities that finance the infrastructure of schools, highways, hospitals, and water and sewer facilities. The Fund seeks to provide stable share price and a high level of current income (exempt from federal and Colorado income tax) that is consistent with preservation of investor capital.
